New AMD A-Series APUs Wins at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2012. Computer hardware manufacturers, AMD, had chosen as the winner in Best Choice award at the event COMPUTEX TAIPEI Award 2012, it is New Series A of AMD APU (Accelerated Processing Units).This award is the second consecutive year for APU from AMD, which is given by the Taipei Computer Association.

The second generation AMD A series APU architecture combines multi-core x86 CPU with the latest graphics AMD Radeon HD 7000 series to provide increased performance of productivity applications up to 29 percent (compared with first-generation AMD APU series A), improved graphics performance up to 56 percent, and to provide a battery life of up to 12 hours.

APU codenamed Trinity is a design that has been improved from the previous generation, allowing the mobility of the PC, entertainment and gaming experience the best in its class.
